Hand-crafted in 1997, this large, soul-filled Santa captures the true essence of traditional primitive design with his weathered textures and hand-quilted attire. The Details: Features a magnificent quilted red coat with homespun fabric patches, a raw wool beard, and hand-stitched facial features. He carries a bundle of real twigs and evergreen sprigs on his back. Provenance: Hand-signed and dated “Nancy Krueger 1997″ on the inner leg (see photos). Condition: Excellent Primitive Condition. Intentionally aged and distressed as part of the artist’s style.
