They are then enamelled by highly skilled painters, by creating overlapping colours which are then repeatedly glazed and baked at a high temperature to create both a visually stunning and hard wearing surface. The final process is the lacquering process which will prevent the items from becoming tarnished over time. This removes the need for cleaning, so never use abrasive polishes or cloths.
