This bisque nativity set is made of two separate pieces that fit into each other. The back piece holds the light and the music box. The bisque is very sturdy and at first I couldn’t tell if it was ceramic or blow mold plastic. It was painted in beautiful colors. The music box plays Away in a Manger. It is 17″ tall and approx 12″ wide. The star on the barn is missing its tip. You could leave it if you wanted to or you could also remove the star. If you are a crafty person, you might even be able to repair it. There are no other discernible chips or cracks on the rest of the set.
